I'm taking today off, just because. I'm realizing that I can and should use my vacation time, and not just for actual trips.

On my own this weekend. Yesterday I only had a half day at work and was in database training the rest of the day. Afterwards I was able to walk over to the mall and look around without worrying about the time or other people's tolerance for shopping. These days I'm directing my spare dollars to cutting down my credit card debt, but I still like to window shop and pick up something now and then, and only if it's marked down enough.

Some plans have fallen through, but that's ok. I'm gonna do some reading, catch up on my Netflix discs and the Tivo. I have to go order my dress tomorrow for my sister's wedding, take one of my cats in for some follow-up. My family doesn't really get into Hallmark holidays so I don't think we'll be getting together.
