It's actually a rather clever hoax.
"An article ... suggests Rush Limbaugh turned to painkillers to dull the emotional pain suffered during the Clinton Era.
I know whenever I get overly excited or sad about something my mom gives me some of her prescription pills too, so I see how this could be an easy trap to fall into for sensitive, thoughtful people like Rush and I. But I think it is OK, because emotional pain is real pain and they make it so I can focus on praying easier, which is a good thing."
But on a more serious note, all these religious people saying "atheist" like it was a bad thing or something. What is up with that?

Damn. You mean I was supposed to actually read the site closely to figure that out? After I see signs of rabid religious fervor, I kind of lose interest in what the person actually thinks, because you know you're not dealing with someone rational.

I was all sucked in too. Then, I remembered that the majority of children are brighter than the majority of adults. Ergo: this scenario must have been unlikely indeed, and I've proven my own point about the intelligence/age correlation by actually believing this story was true. :( I'm a doorknob, yep. Anyone for cookies? I'm still scared and I would like some comfort food to shake off the lingering unpleasant remnants... :)
