Bogged Down

The semester's winding up in a few weeks, and then I start my last term for my MLS. Between work and school and an attempt at a social life, sleep has gone down the tubes. Soon I need to conduct some serious research for an apartment in Atlanta, as well as a job. Scott's in full dissertation mode, so I need to pick up the slack for our upcoming move.

With graduation looming ahead, I'm suddenly terror-stricken. Sure I have paralegal experience, a tech services job in a law library, and an MLS, but is that enough in this economy, to land an entry-level position as a librarian?

Sleep? What's that?

Crumpet, what area in Atlanta are you moving to? Are you familiar with the city? I've lived in midtown for about three years now. Please feel free to email me with any questions on different areas, info, etc. A good source for Atlanta apartments is Creative Loafing - - as well as the local paper -

As for, I'm afraid I'm no help there.

Hope all is going well, sounds like you're slammed busy. Hang in there!

Thanks, Mary. Would like to move to the Decatur area, basically somewhere east within the perimeter, as close to MARTA as possible. I probably should start combing the ads to get an idea of what's available and what the going rents are.
